An IT Asset Program Manager provides leadership for the enterprise IT Asset Management (ITAM) program, overseeing hardware, software, and mobile/telecom assets. This role partners closely with Architecture and ServiceNow Platform teams through a shared ownership model to ensure accurate, reliable asset data that supports the CMDB and IT service management processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle management for hardware, software, and telecom assets (procurement through retirement)
  • Lead the enterprise IT Asset Management operating model, including standards, lifecycle states, controls, and governance
  • Manage software licensing, renewals, audits, and compliance to reduce risk and optimize cost
  • Drive vendor relationships, contract renewals, and cost-saving negotiation strategies
  • Partner with Architecture & ServiceNow Platform teams to ensure asset data quality and lifecycle alignment feeding the CMDB
  • Collaborate with endpoint teams in an SCCM/MECM environment to support accurate discovery and inventory

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Management, or a related discipline, 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (hardware, software, telecom) in a mid-to-large enterprise, or an equivalent combination
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models, audits, and renewal management
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally without direct authority
  • Demonstrated success in vendor negotiation and lifecycle optimization
  • Experience integrating endpoint discovery tools (e.g., SCCM/MECM) (desired)
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITAM & CMDB in a shared governance model (desired)
  • ITAM certifications (CAMP, CHAMP, CSAM, CITAM, CMAM, CITAD) (desired)
  • Experience supporting distributed or field-based operations (desired)
