Job Description

Looking for a senior production support analyst for a 6 month contract to hire to join the Derivatives platform support team within the Client's Securities Division.
Will be responsible for providing all application level support for back office derivatives systems, regulatory reporting systems, data warehousing, and FCM (Futures Commissions Merchant) applications.
Will be both the technical support as well as the data analysis support within technology platform management.
Candidates must have strong backgrounds in development/support within an enterprise level investment banking environment as they will be automating existing support processes.
Will be providing central support for all OTC/Derivatives related applications, working closely with the middle office, operations and business partners to analyse and resolve all issues, and develop automated solutions for any and all support tasks.

Qualifications

5+ years hands on production support experience in a fast paced trading environment
5+ years of experience providing production support / analysis for derivatives systems applications
5+ years of experience providing production support / analysis for data warehousing applications
5+ years of experience providing production support / analysis for FCM (Future Commissions Merchant) applications
3-5+ years development experience
3+ years of SQL, Java, Unix Shells & Perl
Working knowledge of AutoSys and or other scheduling tools
