IT Infrastructure Engineer
Annual Compensation Range: $100,000 - $110,000 annually, full-time, benefit eligible
Profession: Information Technology / Infrastructure Engineering
Location: Greenville, SC Corporate Office (Hybrid)
Travel: May require up to 10% travel between sites or vendor locations.

Are you passionate about designing, optimizing, and securing modern enterprise infrastructure? We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Greenville, SC. This role is responsible for supporting and advancing a highly available, secure, and scalable technology environment across both on-premises and cloud platforms.
As a key member of our IT organization, you will execute infrastructure initiatives, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, support cloud and virtualization technologies, and partner with cybersecurity, application, and business teams to ensure exceptional system performance and reliability.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Manage and support Windows, Linux, virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities while minimizing business disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, performance, security, and system availability issues.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve infrastructure resiliency.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Manage infrastructure-related projects, vendors, budgets, and technical deliverables from planning through implementation.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to IT team members.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise systems administration.
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Windows and Linux operating systems
    • VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization
    • Storage technologies including SAN and NAS
    • Enterprise networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, encryption, and intrusion prevention technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with ITIL, Agile, or other IT service management and project management methodologies.
