Job description

Description
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the M2 Technology organization while applying your technical skills to your own dedicated customer accounts. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities at once with energy and focus.
Who is M2 Technology?
M2 Technology is an IT services company based in Green Bay Wisconsin. We proudly serve over 130 customers within the state of Wisconsin, including our affiliated company M2 Logistics (located in Green Bay WI, Denver CO, and Salt Lake City UT).
M2 Technology provides IT consulting and technical support services to a variety of customers and covering a vast range of functional areas including but not limited to infrastructure/LAN design and implementation, hardware procurement, cyber security, data backups, remote monitoring, as well as fully outsourced IT solutions.
Main Accountabilities:
This is a proactive, client-facing role. You'll integrate directly with client organizations, functioning as an extension of their IT department and as much a part of their team as ours.
  • Serve as the face of M2 Technology within the client environment - the standard by which clients judge our service.
  • Operate in a hands-on technical role beyond entry-level, supporting client networks, servers, and end users both on-site and remotely.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues, build out new systems and infrastructure, and be the reliable presence clients trust and want to see.
  • Respond quickly to client requests, manage client projects, triage effectively, and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Support and maintain Windows desktops, Windows Server environments, and macOS across multiple client sites.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) and on-premises Active Directory.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment (firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VPNs) and server hardware.
  • Manage backup and recovery, patching, and endpoint security using our standard toolset.
  • Travel to client locations throughout Greater Green Bay, the Fox Valley, and Northern and Central Wisconsin.
  • Bring flexibility and strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt independently.
  • Document work clearly and consistently so teammates or clients can follow and build on it.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Integrity - Honest and client-first. You protect their systems and data with the same care you'd give your own.
  • Speed to response - When a client is down, they hear from you fast. Response time isn't an afterthought; it's core to the job.
  • Dedication - You own the problem until it's fixed. You don't hand off a half-solved issue and hope someone else finishes it.
  • Availability when it matters - Most work is standard hours, but you're willing to work nights, early mornings, or weekends when a cutover or outage demands it.
  • Desire to learn - You actively want to grow, dig into the unfamiliar, and take on technology you haven't touched before. That hunger matters more than knowing everything today.

Why should you apply?
  • Fun and energetic work environment
  • Work/Life balance is a core value of the M2 Technology organization
  • Lack of bureaucracy - more empowerment
  • Pride in ownership
  • Servant leadership - no barriers
  • Caring/compassionate owner - trickle down effect
  • A really cool team that you get to work with!

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in the associated job duties and essential functions
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build and convey business insight through data and reporting
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware
  • Willingness to support customers after-hours as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to travel locally to customer sites (typically within a 2-hour radius), roughly 20-50% of the time
  • Exposure to engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor, Civil 3D, Fusion 360, MicroStation, Creo, CATIA, NX, or SketchUp is a plus
  • Familiarity with dental software and medical terminology such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, DTX Studio, Dexis, Carestream, Sidexis, 3Shape, Vatech, or J. Morita is a bonus
