Summary
As IT Financial Analyst, you will support the IT procurement purchases with a strong emphasis on financial control, budget adherence, and spend optimization. You will work closely with IT leadership, Accounting, and vendors to ensure technology investments are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with corporate financial objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and finance stakeholders to evaluate, select, and renew IT products and services while ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Manage financial oversight of IT procurement activities, including budget planning, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis.
  • Analyze IT spend to identify cost-savings opportunities, support vendor consolidation efforts, and eliminate redundant tools and services.
  • Validate, analyze, and review invoices and purchasing records to ensure accuracy, budget compliance, and timely payment.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to internal procurement, financial, security, and compliance policies.
  • Participate in assigned projects and initiatives involving the procurement and financial management of new technology products and services.

Job Qualifications
  • Education / Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or financial analysis within a corporate environment
  • Financial & Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and spend analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Professional Skills:
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively between technical and financial teams
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet time-sensitive demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and vendors

Preferred, but not required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Understanding of IT hardware, software, SaaS environments, and licensing models
  • Working knowledge of commercial and contract terms (e.g., pricing structures, renewals, SLAs)
