2ND SHIFT POSITION
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist capable of operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. This role is responsible for producing precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of machining processes, can work independently, and demonstrates a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC milling and turning machines
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Edit offsets and make minor program adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and internal work instructions
- Complete required documentation and inspection records
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of machines and work area (5S standards)
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- CNC Machining experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers and hand gauges.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including the ability to understand detailed safety rules, operating and warning instructions, procedure manuals and product label identification.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and willingness to undergo a physical examination as necessary.
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.

- Mazak programming, G-Code, GD&T experience
- Lean manufacturing principles
- Quality inspection experience

- ERP Software knowledge
