Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a skilled Unity AR/VR Developer to support Meta Oculus headset development, focusing on creating immersive training experiences powered by AI-driven interactions. The role involves optimizing performance for Oculus and other AR/VR platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance employee training programs through dynamic and interactive AR/VR solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize interactive AR/VR/MR applications using Unity & C#.
• Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations for Meta Oculus and other headsets.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate Copilot Studio, GPT-driven scenarios, and natural language processing (NLP) into training modules.
• Develop dynamic AI-generated training scenarios that adapt to user interactions in real time.
• Integrate AR/VR training modules with HR systems, LMS, and business tools using prebuilt connectors.
• Ensure smooth 3D asset pipelines, working with modeling tools and optimizing for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oculus SDK, ARKit, ARCore, and spatial computing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in Unity & C# scripting (3+ years of experience)
• Hands-on experience with Oculus SDK, ARKit, and ARCore
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya, etc.) and asset pipelines
• Strong understanding of spatial computing, mixed reality, and VR performance optimization
• Ability to work onshore hours (8 AM – 6 PM EST)
Preferred:
• Experience with AI-driven interactions (Copilot Studio, GPT, NLP) is a plus
• Oculus experience preferred
