Position Summary: Supervises Speech Language Pathologists Clinical Fellowship Year and Speech Pathology interns. Assists in the development of services to patients of all ages, provides evaluation and treatment to inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Establishes goals for treatment which appropriately reflect diagnostic information obtained during the evaluation process and patient/family interviews.Establishes goals for treatment which are age appropriate and emphasize functional outcomes, selects and utilizes appropriate assessment, therapeutic techniques, and treatment protocols, assures quality care through continued education, promotes the Speech Therapy Department in the hospital and community, maintains interdepartmental and interdepartmental communication.Position Minimum Qualification:Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.New Master Degree grads accepted.Required Licenses/Certifications: Current Florida license as a Speech Language PathologyCurrent BLS within 90 days of first day of employmentCommunication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.Must clear background and drug test required.
