Job Description

Using both text and PowerPoint formats to deliver creative and thought-provoking content in speechwriting.

Editing, writing, and contributing to the strengthening of our communications through multiple channels 

Identify, research, and produce written presentations, including talking points, QAs, and other business communications.

Keep up to date on relevant economic, political, industry, or policy issues that should be highlighted or referenced.

Support media relations, community projects and marketing efforts which require high-level written products. Recommend visual aids that will assist in speeches/presentations when needed. 

Set standards for a message's content, consistency and tone

Draft, edit and proofread newsletters, ads, brochures, news releases, event scripts, etc. 

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of communications experience in a professional setting. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in producing high-quality speeches and presentations. All applicants for the position are asked to submit a portfolio of material to demonstrate their capabilities in speechwriting and presentations.

Needs to be able to write in a conversational tone, so a speaker sounds to his audience as if he's speaking in a non-scripted manner

Good researcher and fact-checker, and should demonstrate great attention to detail. 

Excellent command of the English language

Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines

Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously

Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities

A passion for women's economic opportunities

BA is mandatory. MBA preferred

Strong communicator with impeccable writing skills
