Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer/Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate, with a strong focus on secure application architecture, system integration, and custom development. This role blends architectural leadership with active solution delivery and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, analysts, and developers

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse).
  • Build Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Develop custom components, plugins, PCF controls, and APIs using C#, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools.
  • Implement role-based security and follow Power Platform security best practices.
  • Lead a team of 4-6 developers and mentor junior team members.
  • Establish coding standards, deployment processes, and ALM best practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Present technical solutions and project updates to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience in software development and application delivery.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Must have hands on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform Plugins, PCF Controls, and custom APIs and
  • Experience with React, Node.js, or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400) certification required; PL-600 certification preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees. To ensure our employees are able to protect their income, other offerings such as short and long-term disability benefits, life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance are provided or available. We regularly review our Total Rewards package to ensure our offerings are competitive and reflect what our employees have told us they value most.
