Job Summary

Production PlannerIIplays a key role inoptimizingproduction processes and ensuring the efficient use of time and resources within a manufacturing or production environment. This position involves advanced planning, analysis, and coordination to meet production targets whilemaintaininghigh standardsof quality and efficiency.The PlannerII plays a critical role in drivingplanningexcellence,optimizingproduction processes, and ensuring thetimelydelivery of products to customers. This position requiresthe start of broaderstrategic thinking, technicalexpertise, and effective collaboration across various functional areas.

This position may require minor travel to the plant(s) and may require some after normal businesshoursreviewsof production plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production Scheduling:Develop andmaintainproduction schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, and production capacity. Ensure alignment with sales forecasts and inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, while minimizing costs.Raw Material ordering in some "business units" may berequired.
  • Resource Optimization:Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, andlogistics, tooptimizeresourceutilization.Identifyopportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Data Analysis:Analyze production data toidentifytrends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical methods and forecasting techniques to predict future demand andoptimizeproduction plans.
  • Communication and Coordination:Communicate production schedules, priorities, and updates to stakeholders, including production teams, supervisors, and management. Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers(if required)to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance:Collaborate with operations and quality control teams to ensure that production plans meet the requirements to produce a quality product. Monitor on hold items as neededto resolvein a timely manner.
  • Technology Utilization:Leverage production planning software, ERP systems, and other tools to automate processes, streamline workflows, andfacilitatedata analysis.
  • Master Data:MasterDatamaintenance as required by team expectations.May include code creation.
  • Projects:Project assignments, Problem Solving Projects,Kaizen Events, etc.
  • Metrics:Monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, resourceutilization, and inventory management. Analyze performance data toidentifytrends, deviations, and areas for improvement.Display ability to improve and positively affect change within department.

As a Production Planner II, you will be entitled to the following:

  • The Salary Range for this position is $58,754 to $105,757.
    • The final base compensation offered is based on educational achievements, professional experience, other qualifying factors & skillsets, and internal equity. While Carlisle Companies Inc is committed to Pay Transparency with this range, understand that candidates should not necessarily expect to see an offer near the top end of the posted range.
