Description

The Demand Planning Intern will support the Americas Supply Chain team in enhancing demand planning processes, improving data visibility, and enabling effective S&OP decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience in demand forecasting, reporting, lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Demand Reporting & Data Management

  • Maintain and update monthly and quarterly demand review files across reagents and equipment
  • Consolidate data from multiple systems (Excel, SAP/APO, Maestro reports)
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation and basic quality checks
  • Prepare demand review decks and support files for regional S&OP meetings
  • Assist in building pre-read materials and summary reports

Forecast Analysis & KPI Tracking

  • Support analysis of forecast vs actuals (QTD, monthly trends)
  • Identify gaps and support preparation of risk & opportunity summaries
  • Help maintain KPI dashboards and trackers to improve visibility

Lifecycle Management (LCM) & Master Data Support

  • Track product lifecycle activities (phase-in / phase-out)
  • Support master data maintenance in APO (create/update/delete references)
  • Monitor impact of lifecycle changes on forecast and supply plans
Works full-time onsite in Salt Lake City.
Qualifications:
    • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized institution of higher learning, have reached Sophomore level status or later in school, and have a minimum of 3.0 GPA or above. It is recommended that each internship lasts a minimum of 12 weeks.
    Competitive candidates will have the following skills and attributes:
      • Spanish or French speaking is not required but considered a plus.
      • Must be Microsoft Office proficient.
      • SAP ECC or SAP APO DP knowledge is a plus.
