Job Summary:
We are seeking Culinary Interns to assist our culinary team in preparing various dishes and occasionally serving guests on sight at events. The Interns will be responsible for organizing ingredients, following recipes, and performing basic food preparation tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience as a prep cook/event chef or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and assembling salads.
- Follow recipes accurately and maintain food preparation processes.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized.
- Assist in stocking and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
