Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of shuttle services for CCCH Guests and Team Members is delivered with exceptional service, courtesy, timeliness while meeting all compliance and safety standards. Position requires working in an environment where smoking is permitted. Must be comfortable with exposure to smoke while performing job duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

  • Provide prompt and friendly service to all guests and servers.
  • Take and fill drink orders, ensuring to follow recipes and mix drinks according to Title 4 & CCCH standards.
  • Prepare garnishes for beverage stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, counters, and equipment throughout shift.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of products for scheduled shift, restock as needed.
  • Process payment transactions accurately and maintain complete records of all transactions for end of shift report.
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage menu, all products, equipment, and POS system.
  • Execute monthly inventory by physically counting and entering all beverage products.
  • Complete opening and closing side work duties.
  • Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions.
  • Observe alcoholic beverage service rules according to Title 4 & department standards to prevent serving minors, over-serving, or serving intoxicated guests.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

  1. Required Education: N/A Preferred Education: HS DIPLOMA
  2. Work Experience:
    1. Must have either six (6) months' previous bartending experience or have attained a bartending certificate from an accredited bartending school or have equivalent experience that would be deemed appropriate by the Beverage Leadership.
  3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Must possess knowledge of mixology and bartending practices.
    2. Must have money-handling experience.
    3. Must be able to plan and be well organized.
  4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
    1. Must have or obtain valid Title 4 and Alcohol Awareness certification upon hire.
    2. Must have or obtain valid Food Handlers' certification upon hire.
  5. Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  6. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  7. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  8. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
