The Longwood Collective is seeking a talented and motivated Communications and Digital Media Coordinator. The Longwood Collective (LC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA) for the benefit of those who live, work, or receive care in the LMA. The LMA is one of Boston's busiest and most dynamic neighborhoods and an epicenter of innovation, culture, education, and healthcare.

The Communications and Digital Media Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs and will work closely with staff to develop and implement communications strategies across a variety of platforms to engage with Longwood Collective's internal and external audiences. This role will support the communications needs of Longwood Collective and its family of organizations, including MASCO Services, Inc. (MSI) and the Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center (LMACCC).

Essential Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing an internal and external communications strategy designed to further company objectives and engage relevant audiences. Work with key internal staff members to keep up to date on project developments, seeking out opportunities to generate content for broader consumption.

Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including website copy, press releases, and social media. Coordinate the development and dissemination of Longwood Collective's monthly newsletter and other online outreach strategies. Lead digital content creation, including copy and graphics for social media, website, and promotional campaigns to maintain a strong online voice for the organization.

Monitor and oversee social media platforms with a goal of increasing online visibility through engagement and responding to inquiries. Develop and compile monthly reports for social media and web analytics to inform content creation; setting benchmarks and goals to track progress and growth. Oversee and maintain website for Longwood Collective, and subsidiary organizations including LMACCCC and MSI Call Center to ensure that the sites are fresh and timely, accurate, representative of the work, and engaging to a variety of audiences.

Proactively executes department priorities including project management, agenda setting, and project timelines. Assist with special projects, such as the rebranding initiative and the production of Longwood Collective's annual report. Ensure cross-departmental collaboration on communication efforts.

Maintain and uphold Longwood Collective's branding and messaging guidelines in all digital and printed materials. Research new possibilities for outreach and collaboration with partner organizations. Complete administrative and non-administrative special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications (unless otherwise noted) Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a communications or marketing role. Experience may include co-op work, or internships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Suite. Knowledge of graphic design software such as Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Knowledge of email marketing software such as Constant Contact or a similar program.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional customer service and interpersonal style; ability to work with a diverse range of people. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment while ensuring strong attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Exhibit a 'can-do' attitude and flexible work style approach. Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
