ย 

Assist the Communications Department in various professional communication duties as needed each semester.ย  This internship usually revolves around a particular project assignment and can vary based on the student's needs and availability.ย  Job duties may include, but will not be limited to, the following:

ย 

Maintain aspects of theย district websites; maintain aspects of the district athletic websites; maintain aspects of the video production programย by producing, scheduling, and uploading content; maintain and expand the district's social media presence; assist with the district's advertising and marketing program; assist with event promotions; assist with various communication programs and carry out communication; assist with the branding programs of various departments and programs; work with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); video production; graphic design; sports reporting; feature story reporting; other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ย 

Journalism, editing, advertising, and video editingย experience preferred.ย  Mustย exhibit strong,ย excellent editing/proofreading skills; ย be able to work independently; must have knowledge of social media/websites; ability to work with a variety of people.

ย 

Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.ย  Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
