Job description

Junior Business Development Representative
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: $48,000 - $65,000 (base + performance incentives)
About Vestian
Vestian is a leading commercial real estate services firm dedicated exclusively to occupiers. With a client-centric approach, deep market knowledge, and a commitment to transparency, Vestian delivers conflict-free solutions across portfolio strategy, transaction management, project management, and workplace services. Founded in 2009, Vestian has grown into a global platform with offices in the USA, India, and China.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and articulate Junior Business Development Representative (SDR) to join our Chicago team.
In this role, you'll focus on outbound prospecting and lead generation for companies exploring Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India-one of the fastest-growing segments in corporate real estate. You'll engage directly with decision-makers at mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies, introducing Vestian's GCC advisory services, qualifying opportunities, and setting meetings for senior business development executives who lead strategic expansion conversations.
This is an ideal position for someone early in their career who is confident on the phone, eager to learn how large corporations make global real estate decisions, and interested in building a career in international business development and corporate real estate.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting
• Conduct high-volume outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to executives at U.S. and European corporations evaluating India expansion or offshoring strategies.
• Introduce Vestian's GCC advisory and implementation services, positioning the firm as a strategic partner for establishing operations in India.
• Qualify prospects by understanding their global footprint, cost optimization priorities, and expansion timelines.
• Schedule introductory calls and strategy sessions for Vestian's senior GCC leadership team.
Research & Targeting
• Identify target companies with active or emerging interest in building GCCs or shared service centers in India.
• Track corporate announcements, hiring activity, and market signals that indicate expansion opportunities.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in HubSpot CRM, ensuring visibility across the BD pipeline.
Pipeline & Reporting
• Achieve and exceed weekly outreach and meeting targets.
• Monitor lead progress, capture meeting outcomes, and report on key metrics to the BD leadership team.
• Collaborate with senior team members to refine outreach messaging and segment targeting based on results.
Who You Are
• 0-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or client outreach (internship or SDR experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication skills with confidence speaking to executives.
• Strong research and organizational skills; comfortable synthesizing market information.
• Familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and professional outreach tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Driven, self-motivated, and process-oriented with a desire to learn.
• Interest in global business, real estate, and India's role in corporate expansion.
Why Join Us
• Be part of Vestian's fast-growing Global Capability Center (GCC) practice-helping Fortune 1000 companies evaluate and establish operations in India.
• Work directly with senior leadership driving multinational expansion initiatives.
• Learn the business of corporate real estate, site selection, and international business strategy.
• Career growth opportunities into senior business development or brokerage roles in a global, entrepreneurial environment.
