Job description

Description The Senior Logistics Analyst provides essential support to the PEO/CPE Headquarters mission by assisting government personnel and Program Managers (PMs) in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated logistics support (ILS) for assigned Army systems and programs. This entry-level position works as part of a dedicated support team, taking direction from government leadership and senior analysts to contribute to government efforts ensuring equipment is sustainable and supportable throughout its lifecycle. The role focuses on providing analytical and administrative support to the government program office. Responsibility * Provide support to government logisticians in the development and review of logistics documentation, such as Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Maintenance Support Plans, Materiel Release, Type Classification, and Supply Support Plans. Assist in tracking the 12 integrated product support (IPS) elements for assigned programs on behalf of the government.
* Collect and analyze logistics data to support government-led program reviews and milestone decisions. Track and report the status of logistics-related action items and program schedules as directed by government personnel.
* Assist the government team in defining and documenting logistics requirements for acquisition documents. * Support government-led coordination for the fielding of new systems and equipment to Army units. Monitor and report data on the sustainment and readiness of fielded systems to help the government identify potential issues.
* Prepare draft briefings, information papers, and reports for government review and finalization. Maintain organized records and documentation related to program logistics activities in support of the CPE staff.
* Interface with government personnel within the CPE and other relevant Army commands as a representative of the contractor support team. Foster a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements Required: * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Program Management or a related field.
* 8-10 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or program support role.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assigned tasks.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Forms, Teams, Planner, Power BI)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Collaborative and team oriented
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Desired: * Experience working in a government or defense contractor environment.
* Internship or co-op experience supporting a DoD organization.
* A basic understanding of the DoD acquisition process and lifecycle management.
* Familiarity with Army logistics terminology and organizational structures.
Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
* Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
* Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
