About This Role

We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Intern will assist with Continuous Improvement activities warehouse, logistics and expeditor departments.
  • Identify and improve organizational processes with the aim of increasing efficiency, productivity and safety
  • Maps out workflows, identifies opportunities to remove waste and low-value activities, and recommends solutions to solve simple and complex problems.
  • Analyze existing processes using Rapid Problem-Solving techniques and various methods such as gap analysis or PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) or Kaizen (Accelerated Improvements)
  • Contributes to the completion of specific technical tasks and/or milestones associated with specific projects
  • Provides clear improvement plans associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance
