These internships provide hands-on experience in healthcare settings, allowing interns to assist with patient care under supervision. Duties may include supporting nurses and other medical staff, helping patients with daily activities, and learning about clinical procedures. Such internships are valuable for gaining practical skills, understanding healthcare environments, and preparing for a future career in health care.

What do internship HCAs do?

During an HCA internship, interns typically assist with a variety of tasks such as supporting patient mobility, helping with personal care, and monitoring patients’ vital signs under supervision. They may work alongside nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, gaining hands-on experience in real clinical settings.
