Job description

Checkpoint Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support RFID retail initiatives focused on major retailers in Northwest Arkansas. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to retail technology, product development, inventory visibility solutions, and real-world RFID applications within a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Duties
  • Assist with identifying products and categories requiring RFID tagging
  • Walk retail stores to observe product placement, tagging opportunities, and compliance trends
  • Collect product samples for RFID testing and evaluation
  • Help identify tagging challenges on various product types and packaging formats
  • Support organization and tracking of samples, data, and project materials
  • Assist with retailer and supplier project coordination activities
  • Participate in product testing, competitive reviews, and innovation projects
  • Provide general project support for RFID initiatives tied to retail operations and supply chain visibility

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Business, Supply Chain, Retail, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable visiting retail stores and handling physical product samples
  • Interest in retail technology, supply chain, operations, or innovation preferred
