Operations Assistant Intern

The Operations Assistant Intern is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in business operations, administrative support, and organizational processes within a nonprofit community healthcare organization. This role provides practical training and work experience while supporting day-to-day operational activities across departments and assisting with administrative coordination in a professional healthcare environment.

The intern will work closely with operational leaders and administrative staff to learn organizational workflows, office procedures, and professional workplace expectations. No prior office or healthcare experience is required; training will be provided.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to various departments as assigned
  • Assist with organizing, filing, scanning, and maintaining records and documentation
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office operations
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate operational information
  • Help prepare materials, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as directed
  • Support inventory tracking and office supply organization
  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives
  • Answer and direct phone calls or internal inquiries professionally
