Job description

Political Account Coordinator Intern - Customer Success
About Cross Screen Media
Cross Screen Media empowers political and public affairs organizations to plan, activate, and measure video advertising campaigns. We combine proprietary software with best-in-class campaign execution to help our customers win their toughest elections and policy fights. We're building the next generation Convergent TV platform - and we're looking for curious, driven students and recent grads to join us for the 2026 cycle.
About the Role
This internship is a great way to get real-world experience working with high-profile political and public affairs clients at the federal, state, and local levels. As a Political Account Coordinator Intern on our Customer Success team, you'll work alongside Account Managers to support campaign planning and execution for agencies across the country.
You'll learn how modern political advertising actually gets done - from audience research through activation and measurement, while contributing to campaigns that will help shape the 2026 election cycle. This is a paid, remote or hybrid internship based out of our Alexandria, VA office, with the potential to convert to a full-time salaried role with benefits after the cycle.
What You'll Do
  • Support Account Managers in fielding incoming customer requests related to digital and Connected TV (CTV) campaign planning and activation
  • Help prepare audience insights and data pulls from our proprietary cross-channel media planning software platform
  • Assist in building campaign plans, client-facing decks, and campaign reports
  • Collaborate with teammates across Customer Success, Advertising Operations, and Sales
What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program - or a recent grad
  • Interest in politics, public affairs, advertising, media, or campaign strategy (prior experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with good time management - comfortable juggling multiple requests and deadlines
  • A problem-solver who's eager to learn and isn't afraid to ask questions
  • Able to commit to 20-40 hours per week
The Details
  • Pay: $15 per hour
  • Hours: 20-40 hours per week
  • Location: Hybrid - Alexandria, VA
  • Duration: Through the end 2026 election cycle, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time salaried role with benefits
Why Join Us
You'll get an inside look at how data, media, and political strategy come together during one of the most consequential election cycles in recent memory. You'll leave this internship with hands-on experience, a portfolio of real client work, and a network of mentors across the political advertising industry.
