Job description

Advanced Decision Vectors, LLC (ADV), established in 2009, provides superior program management, program support, strategic planning, and systems engineering to the Federal and Commercial sectors. Located in Alexandria, Virginia, ADV is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) contractor that has roots established in the Department of Defense and support agencies. We are seeking experienced professionals to support the U.S. Coast Guard's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) Infrastructure Services Division, Transport Services Branch (ISD-TSB) in Alexandria, Virginia. These positions play a vital role in delivering enterprise network transport services, planning and supporting IT projects, improving business processes, and providing project management for mission-critical operations. The team works closely with USCG leadership to gather and prioritize requirements, manage budgets and financial planning, analyze workflows and performance, prepare reports and documentation, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with federal standards.
You will work closely with U.S. Coast Guard leadership and project teams to deliver comprehensive project management, budget planning, business intelligence, and administrative support. Responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing requirements, managing budgets and financial planning, analyzing workflows and performance, generating reports and metrics, preparing internal and external documentation, and driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and compliance with federal requirements.
Work Location:
Primarily onsite at C5ISC Alexandria USCG Base, 7323 Telegraph Rd., Bldg. Eight Pack, Alexandria, VA 22315. Limited telework allowed with prior government approval (up to 8 days per pay period). Telework must follow contract requirements and may be restricted at any time. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the duty location; those outside this area will not be considered.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Public Trust level or higher, as required by the contract. Clearance level will be verified and documented in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard facility access requirements. An active clearance is strongly preferred.
We are seeking a seasoned Project Analyst to join this effort!
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager in establishing and maintaining processes to manage projects effectively.
  • Provide detailed analysis, coordinate tasks, and communicate with stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
  • Identify resource needs, track funding, and report project progress to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Provide meeting support, including drafting agendas, capturing meeting minutes, tracking action items, and consolidating weekly status reports.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal and external presentations, reports, and other contract deliverables in compliance with Coast Guard requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
  • One (1) *ACTIVE* certification from the following: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional from the International Project Management Association (IPMA), PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner, and Certified Project Manager (CPM).
  • Active IAT Level II certificate at a minimum.
  • Security Clearance: Active Security Clearance at the Public Trust level or higher, as required by the government. Clearance level will be verified and documented in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard facility requirements.
