Anesthesia Tech I

Join a collaborative perioperative team supporting anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nurses in delivering exceptional patient care. The Anesthesia Tech I is responsible for preparing procedure rooms, restocking anesthesia supplies, cleaning equipment, supporting room turnover, and responding to provider needs throughout the surgical day.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment and supply carts
  • Commitment to infection prevention and safety protocols

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Day and mid-shift opportunities available
  • On-call, weekend, and holiday rotation required

Role Purpose

The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support and performs routine duties relevant to the Department of Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the cleanliness of all anesthetic equipment and routinely stocks all anesthesia supplies.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies for use by anesthesiologist and CRNAs and assists as directed.
  • Provides medications for use by anesthesiologist, and works with pharmacist to ensure availability of drugs needed.

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • <2 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

Preferred Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree - Healthcare related field
