Job Description Maintenance Mechanic Top International Steel Trader Location: St. Louis, MO, United States A candidate who applies for this position needs to be able to perform the following job functions: Demonstrate a commitment to safety in all aspects of the job Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job Use critical thinking to prioritize and complete assigned tasks effectively Work well with other team members who have different professional expertise Design and fabricate basic steel structures Identify and repair basic mechanical components of machinery Regularly lift heavy objects (more than 50 pounds) The ideal candidate should also be interested in expanding their knowledgebase. They will be given the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the machinery that we use, including the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within our company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Have experience with mechanical repairs. Preferred Qualifications: Have 1 year of experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems Have 1 year of experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
