JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven, and strategic International Sales Representative to lead and support global sales initiatives and dealer development efforts outside of the United States. This role is responsible for strengthening Regal’s international market presence through dealer network management, sales growth strategies, territory development, and customer relationship management.

The International Sales Representative will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and worldwide dealer partners to promote Regal’s brand, drive international sales performance, and identify opportunities for expansion into new global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and strategic direction for Regal’s international sales efforts and dealer relationships.
  2. Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and worldwide dealer networks to promote and grow global sales.
  3. Establish and manage international territories, sales goals, quotas, and performance expectations.
  4. Develop new distribution outlets and identify opportunities to expand Regal’s international dealer footprint.
  5. Evaluate dealer performance and replace or elevate underperforming dealers as needed.
  6. Support international dealers with product knowledge, sales strategies, training, and ongoing relationship management.
  7. Analyze international market trends, competitive activity, and customer demands to support business growth initiatives.
  8. Coordinate and attend domestic and international boat shows, dealer meetings, and customer events.
  9. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including sales, marketing, engineering, production, and customer service to support international operations and customer satisfaction.
  10. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience as an International Sales Representative or International Sales Manager for a manufacturer of recreational boats exceeding 20 feet in length.
  3. Experience developing and managing international dealer or distribution networks.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 25% of the time.
  6. Conversational English proficiency required.
  7. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain necessary travel documentation, including a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous leadership or territory management experience within the marine industry.
  2. Experience working with luxury or premium recreational products.
  3. Multilingual abilities strongly preferred.
  4. Strong negotiation and business development skills.
  5. Excellent customer service and dealer support capabilities.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be exposed to weather conditions, normal office environments, or factory environments that are not climate-controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The factory in certain areas maintains a high fiberglass and dust environment.

The employee is frequently required to go into non-climate-controlled manufacturing facilities to connect with and assist management and team members with HR-related issues.
