Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our team in our San Diego office (In office 3 days each week). This role will focus on supporting and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing our Global Sales Operations newsletter, overseeing quote or booking incident reviews and analytics, and participating in backlog prioritization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Active participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) release cycles including: 

    • Support UAT Prep and Kick-off activities including User Acceptance Scenario preparation, Test Script creation, and review 

    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing 

    • Assist SOPs with any questions or help during User Acceptance Testing 

    • Actively review defects during UAT and help coordinate resolutions for successful signoff 

  • Quoting Process Incident Review & Analytics 

    • Collaborate with DT to regularly review and report out Quote or Booking-related incidents, working with DT to identify root causes and coordinating with relevant teams for resolution 

    • Analyze incident data to identify trends and develop strategies for systems and process improvement 

    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions 

  • Quote to Order Backlog Prioritization: 

    • Participate in backlog prioritization meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback 

    • Collaborate with DT teams to ensure alignment on priorities 

    • Foster strong relationships with sales, deals desk, finance, legal, DT, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration 

    • Act as a point of contact for sales ops teams regarding quoting processes and tools, providing guidance and support as needed 

  • Process Documentation: 

    • Support in developing and updating process documentation related to sales operations and quoting functionality 

    • Regularly review and collaborate with the enablement team to optimize documentation to reflect best practices and changes in operations 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 

  • 3 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a B2B environment 

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Strong understanding of Quoting processes and tools 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Experience with data analysis and performance metrics
