Job Description
International Banking institution seeks bilingual Japanese (preferred) Credit Operations Associate. Japanese language skill is preferred but not required. The position performs analytical and operational tasks in the front office of corporate banking branch office which covers subsidiaries of Asian corporate clients including Japanese. The analytical tasks include financial statement analysis, preparing complex modeling and analytics to support the development of forecasts and estimates related to required capital and credit loss. The operational tasks include gathering support documentation to structure deals, liaise with middle and back office for KYC purposes, and assist in drafting pre screen memos for the Credit Department.
Requirements
  • Formal credit training preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working at a corporate bank or other financial institution.
  • Some knowledge of banking and prior internships at a bank or financial institution preferred.
  • Highly proficient MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred or equivalent education and training.
  • Japanese language skills (business level) preferred but not required.
