Fitness Machine Technicians Operations Associate

Fitness Machine Technicians is an award winning, rapidly growing international service franchise in Malvern, PA that repairs and maintains exercise equipment. We started franchising in January 2018 and currently have 46 franchisees in over 100 U.S. territories and in one province in Canada. We are on track to have 50+ by the end of the year.

As an active member of Fitness Machine Technicians’ Operations team, the Operations Assistant is responsible for building relationships with FMT franchisees and supporting their needs as they grow their businesses. You will learn the ins and outs of the exciting franchise world.

Duties:

· Operations position providing support to our franchisees. Reports to the Director of Operations

· Onboard new franchisees into our system by creating email addresses, providing access to our systems and reviewing the timeline and steps necessary to open their business successfully

· Schedule and help train new franchisees on our systems/processes essential to running their day to day operations

· Manage manufacturer relationships and update manufacturer database

· Edit the franchisee Operations Manual as needed. Disseminate to franchisees.

· Roll out new policies and procedures and ensure they are properly implemented

· Assist as needed in the planning and execution of our Annual Franchisee Conference in November

· Train and provide support for questions our Field Service Management System and HubSpot

· Review social networking websites periodically to ensure they are meeting brand standards periodically

· Provide general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of office experience.
  • Need to understand the basics of running a small business in order to help franchisees
  • Willing to communicate by phone, email, text and Zoom. Must be willing to answer franchisee phone calls and listen to franchisee concerns.
  • Must be able to communicate and work with franchisees aged 30 - 65
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with franchisees
  • Well organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem resolution skills with a creative solution oriented mindset

· Be able to work independently to multi-task, and to prioritize workload

· Trusted confidant who maintains a high level of confidentiality, sense of discretion, and acts with integrity.

  • Should be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
  • Adobe Acrobat, Trello and/or HubSpot is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite in Malvern office

Salary $40,000 - $45,000.
