Join a Team That Powers Global Trade and International Banking

Are you passionate about international banking, global payments, and supporting the movement of commerce around the world? The Global Trade Documentary Collections team is seeking an experienced and motivated International Banking Operations Associate to help facilitate critical international banking transactions while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of international payments, trade operations, and compliance. You'll gain exposure to complex cross-border transactions, SWIFT messaging, wire processing, and trade-related activities that directly support clients engaged in global business.

What You'll Do

  • Process international and domestic wire transfers with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and risk mitigation.

  • Support the Global Trade Documentary Collections team in managing trade-related operational activities and documentation.

  • Utilize SWIFT messaging platforms to process, monitor, and investigate international payment transactions.

  • Review transactions to ensure compliance with banking regulations, sanctions requirements, and internal policies.

  • Research and resolve payment exceptions, investigations, and operational discrepancies.

  • Partner with internal business lines, compliance teams, relationship managers, and external banking partners across the globe.

  • Monitor operational controls that protect clients and the bank from risk.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in banking operations, payment operations, treasury services, international banking, or a related financial services environment.

  • Experience processing wire transfers or payment transactions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging.

  • Experience processing international wire payments and cross-border transactions.

  • Exposure to trade processing, trade finance, or documentary collections.

  • Understanding of banking compliance requirements, regulations, and operational controls.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $25.63 - $34.18
