International Account Specialist


WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified International Account Specialist to provide day-to-day customer service and sales support for international accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional handling of customer inquiries and orders. This role supports the International Development Specialist and broader International Sales team by managing order processing, documentation, and customer communication while helping maintain a consistent, high-quality customer experience across global markets.

As an International Account Specialist, you will

  • Process international customer orders, exchanges, returns, and credits in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email, and written communication to international customers
  • Support international customers by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products in coordination with Sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare quotes, resolve order issues, and support timely order fulfillment
  • Contact customers to resolve declined payments and obtain updated billing or payment information
  • Verify, maintain, and update accurate customer account information including billing, shipping, and payment details
  • Communicate shipping timelines, requirements, and country-specific logistics information to customers
  • Serve as a primary support contact for assigned international accounts regarding order status, documentation, and general inquiries
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding service issues, recurring customer concerns, or process gaps
  • Respond to customer inquiries received via direct messages or social media platforms, as assigned
  • Prepare and distribute export documentation for customers and freight forwarders in compliance with international trade regulations
  • Support business development efforts by following up on sales leads and assisting with opportunity tracking
  • Capture and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, outbound activity, and order-related data
  • Assist with market research, reporting, and internal process improvement initiatives
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
  • Attend product training sessions and, when required, international trade shows or commercial conferences
  • Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or international account support preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
  • Bilingual capability (Spanish or other languages) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office and data search/entry
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
