Manager, Multimedia Production - Chicago - Hybrid

The Video and Digital Multimedia Production Manager is responsiblefor the creation and production of multimedia content, includingvideo, podcast, social media, and digital content. Reporting to theDirector of Brand & Content, you will play a pivotal role inbringing our STS enterprise content strategy to life. From producingengaging podcast episodes and short-form video series (Reels/Shorts)to partnering with STS leaders to share organizational updates withmembers, to capturing events, to orchestrating social syndicationand elevating our web presence, your work will directly drive membertrust, increase member engagement and storytelling, advance globalthought leadership, and amplify our brand reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Video and Digital Multimedia Production

Brand journalism: Lead the end-to-end, hands-on production ofvideos, podcasts, digital, and social media content, includingscheduling, copywriting, script writing, directing, capturing,and editing short- and long-form video, podcast episodes, aswell as creating engaging digital and social media content andgraphics.

Collaborate with members: Partner effectively with subjectmatter experts, members, committees, and senior executives tobuild internal coalition and consensus.

Translate the complex: Turn clinical, technical, and healthcarenarratives into clear, emotionally connective, and engagingvideos, podcasts, and multiplatform content.

Drive the experience: Align and implement our enterprisecontent calendar, ensuring deliverables are creatively distinct,on time, and on budget.

Website Content, Data and Analytics

Curate a high-performing website: Author and maintain dynamiccontent for the STS website, aligning daily updates withenterprise content calendar.

Lead SEO expertise: Implement effective SEO best practices tooptimize brand sentiment, content findability, and siteperformance.

Drive data-driven decisions: Track, evaluate, and deliverquarterly KPI reviews to the Marketing & Communications teamto inform and refine future strategies.

Build the library of the future: Help build and tag ournext-generation digital asset management system (a key 2027initiative).

Social Media Syndication & Community Building

Manage the channels: Oversee our daily presence acrossLinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram using our social mediamanagement suite.

Test, learn and optimize: Lead content syndication by testing,measuring, and refining distribution strategies to maximizeaudience growth and engagement.

Drive the conversation: Moderate online interactions to fostermember engagement, real-time risk mitigation, and overall brandreputation management.

Experience and Skills

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PublicRelations, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or equivalentprofessional experience).

3-5+ years of professional success in content creation, socialmedia management, multimedia production, or visual journalism.

An equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience is also considered.

Required Skills and Abilities

Communication skills: Exceptional writing, editing, andinterviewing skills, with proven acumen in healthcare and/orclinical communications.

Project management: Proven ability to manage multipleconcurrent projects, prioritize workflows, and deliverhigh-quality work under tight deadlines, while buildingcoalition and consensus across a heavily matrixed, horizontalwork team.

Agency management: Experience managing external agencies,vendors, and partners through short-term development cycles.

Strong hands-on proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe CreativeCloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).

Proficiency with capturing, editing, and packaging professionalvideo, audio, and creative assets (including podcastproduction).

Experience working with social media management software (i.e.,Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprinklr,) website content managementsystems, and digital performance dashboards (Google Analytics,SEMRush).

Working knowledge of enterprise content strategy, SEO bestpractices, and key content performance indicators.

Executive presence and confidence to advise, influence, andcollaborate with senior leaders on strategic content decisions.

The salary range for this exempt role is $85,000 - $105,000 annually.Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate's relevantexperience, skills, training, certifications/licenses and qualifications.
