POSITION SUMMARY

Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Internal Communication Specialist, to help connect our people to the company's mission, strategy, and culture. In this role, you will craft compelling messages, manage internal channels, and partner with leaders across the organization to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write, edit, and publish internal communications including newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and intranet content.

  • Manage and maintain internal communication platforms (intranet, email tools, etc.) to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Partners with People & Culture, leadership, and cross-functional teams to support change management, culture initiatives, and company-wide events.

  • Support internal events such as all-hands meetings, town halls, and employee engagement programs through creative communication.

  • Track and analyze communication metrics (open rates, engagement, survey feedback) to continually improve reach and effectiveness.

  • Help maintain a consistent voice and brand standard across all internal communication materials.

  • Develops knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in internal communications and employee experience through continual learning, apply this knowledge to effectively communicate.

  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate internal communication is required.

  • Experience with internal communication is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in employee and brand experience is preferred.

  • A bachelor's degree, and 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Track record of making things happen in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges.

  • Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high-quality results.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
