Role Overview

The Sr. Manager, Internal Mobility is a strategic leader dedicated to the career longevity and growth of our employees. You will be responsible for executing the programs that allow talent to flow effectively throughout the organization. By bridging the gap between our Early Careers pipelines and Internal Mobility initiatives, you will ensure that NRG Energy is a place for employees to grow from within.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal mobility program strategy aligned with NRG's objectives and business needs
  • Identify trends in mobility patterns and proactively address process and policy gaps
  • Develop user-friendly documentation, enablement materials, and training resources to educate partner teams on internal mobility programs and processes
  • Establish and track key metrics to measure the success and impact of internal mobility initiatives
  • Assist in technology implementation to streamline internal mobility programs and other resources
  • Promotes a culture of career development and internal mobility within the organization
  • Navigate organizational dynamics to secure executive support and alignment for critical program initiatives
  • Design, execute, and manage initiatives to attract, onboard, and develop early-career talent, such as interns and university graduates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, management, or a related field is required
  • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale programs with significant organizational impact
  • Experience leading and designing internal mobility in a complex organization required
  • Able to develop creative solutions to complex operational challenges
  • Possess strong communication skills and can build relationships across all levels of an organization
