Internal Communications Manager

Description -

The HP Solutions (HPS) team is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to lead employee communications and engagement initiatives that connect employees to business priorities, culture, and organizational goals. This role is responsible for developing communication strategies, managing internal communication channels, driving employee engagement programs, and delivering high-quality content and events that strengthen alignment across HPS.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, exceptional writer, and organized project manager who can manage multiple priorities, build compelling employee communications, and translate complex business topics into clear, engaging content.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive employee communication strategies aligned to HPS business priorities.
  • Create and maintain a consistent narrative that reinforces the value, strategy, and direction of HP Solutions.
  • Draft and deliver internal communications including organizational announcements, leadership updates, business communications, employee campaigns, and special event materials.
  • Develop messaging frameworks, communications plans, editorial calendars, and multi-quarter communication roadmaps.
  • Gather employee feedback and insights to improve communications effectiveness and engagement.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of All Employee Meetings (AEMs), leadership events, and driving employee engagement communications, including content development, speaker preparation, video production, technical coordination, surveys, and follow-up communications.
  • Manage and maintain the HPS intranet and other internal communications platforms.
  • Manage enterprise communications tools, including email distribution platforms such as Poppulo.
  • Work with HPS CoS teams and agency to create, coordinate, and publish multimedia content, including videos, presentations, infographics, and digital assets.
  • In partnership with the CoS employee engagement and business planning leads, develop a content strategy that aligns business needs, supports a vibrant HPS culture, and helps deliver timely and relevant information to employees. Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track communication effectiveness, employee engagement, and project status.
  • Partner across HPS teams to ensure consistent, timely, and effective employee communications.
  • Provide editorial guidance, writing support, and communications consulting across the organization.
  • Support the development of new employee engagement and communications initiatives.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, contractors, and communications-related budgets as required.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 5-10 years of experience in employee communications, internal communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide communication programs and employee engagement initiatives preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of employee communications strategies, channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience developing presentations, videos, digital content, and communication campaigns.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into clear, engaging employee communications.
  • Experience with intranet management, distribution platforms, and communications analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, and budgets preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $ 120,850.00 - 175,200.00 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
