Our team oversees brand positioning and strategy, digital and social media, employee and executive communications, media relations, industry research and thought leadership, product marketing, customer regulatory communications, and social impact and sponsorship programming.

About The Role

The Product Communications Manager serves as a product communication steward and key support partner to Product Line Management (PLM). As an individual contributor, this role operates independently while aligning priorities, deliverables, and communication-related workstreams with direction from Product Line Management leadership. This role manages product communications, Owner's Acknowledgement forms, forms and application content, partner communications, and related PLM deliverables for product launches, enhancements, changes, and ongoing maintenance. The role also governs product language, naming standards, terminology, and messaging across customer, advisor, operational, and technology channels. Working closely with Legal, Compliance, Ad Review, Marketing, Product, Technology, Operations, and Distribution partners, this individual coordinates reviews and approvals to ensure communications are accurate, clear, customer-focused, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities

Product Communications & PLM Deliverables

  • Develop, review, and manage product communications, partner communications, and related PLM deliverables for product launches, enhancements, changes, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage Owner's Acknowledgement forms, including content drafting, ArcPro template development, updates, maintenance, and required revisions.
  • Coordinate product-related forms and application content updates to align with approved product positioning, disclosures, and customer/advisor-facing language.
  • Translate product strategy, features, rules, and positioning into accurate customer, advisor, operational, and technology-facing content in partnership with Product Line Managers.
  • Assess product change impacts across communications, documentation, forms, applications, disclosures, websites, statements, systems, and partner materials.
  • Track launch readiness activities, including communications, approvals, documentation updates, dependencies, and stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Manage communication-related workstreams for Product Line Managers by organizing deliverables, documenting decisions, and tracking dependencies.

Product Language & Content Governance

  • Maintain consistent product terminology, naming conventions, and messaging across customer, advisor, operational, technology, and partner touchpoints.
  • Maintain governance reference materials for approved product names, terminology, messaging standards, and usage guidance.
  • Identify inconsistent, outdated, or unclear product language and coordinate updates to improve accuracy, clarity, and usability.

Review & Approval Coordination

  • Coordinate review and approval processes with Legal, Compliance, Ad Review, Marketing, Product Line Management, and other stakeholders to ensure communications meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Submit materials for review, track feedback and decisions, coordinate revisions, and maintain visibility into approval status and outstanding items.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Ad Review, and other teams to gather requirements, resolve content questions, and support timely delivery.
  • Ensure final communications reflect approved product language, disclosure standards, and stakeholder input.

Product Information & Documentation Governance

  • Maintain accurate product information within ArcPro for Owner's Acknowledgement forms and within other product management tools, ensuring alignment across customer-facing, advisor-facing, operational, and technology channels.
  • Maintain documentation governance practices, reporting, inventories, tracking tools, and content records to support product lifecycle management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Required: 3+ years of experience in communications, product management, content governance, or a related business function.
  • Required: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex product concepts into clear customer and advisor-facing language.
  • Required: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Required: Experience collaborating across business units and functions.
  • Required: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and document management tools, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Required: Commitment to confidentiality and professional communication.
  • Preferred: Financial services, insurance, annuity, or investment industry experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with regulated communication review and approval workflows involving Legal, Compliance, Advertising Review, or similar stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience maintaining product communications, documentation inventories, content governance tools, or product management systems.
  • Preferred: Experience applying technology solutions to streamline processes

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Houston, TX and Woodland Hills, CA, office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95, 000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
