Job description

ASF Intermodal, one of the fastest growing companies in our industry, is looking for an Intermodal Customer Service Representative for our Dallas, TX terminal. Purpose and Scope:
Work with terminal team to provide service to customers from the initial orders to the completion of the deliveries.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Perform Prompt and complete data entry 
- Enter accurate customer orders in computer system
- Monitor on-time performance for driver delivery and pick-up 
- Develop knowledge base of all customers 
- Develop relationships with all customers 
- Understand and abide by various customer requirements 
- Resolve customer problems promptly and efficiently 
- Communicate with Dispatchers to avoid any problems with loads and resolve any issues that may occur 
- Trace and monitor existing loads in the system to prevent problems from occurring
Qualifications:
- Experience in intermodal transportation is preferred 
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal 
- Excellent computer skills 
- Ability to effectively multi-task when necessary 
- Flexible - able to work in past-paced environment 
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus 
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions 
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Terminal/Office environment; extended working hours may be occasionally necessary.
