Intermediate School Building Secretary
SY 26-27
Summary:
The Intermediate School Building Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to the School Principal, Staff and Students. This is a full-time position during the school year(10 months) that requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate staff members
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Maintain the school calendar and schedule appointments
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
  • Maintain student records, including attendance and grades
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and activities
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Provide support to the school administration as needed
  • Coordinate sub teachers for vacancies
  • Pupil Accountant / Student Attendance
  • Special Education administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Preferred experience in Powerschool
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with staff members and students
