What to Expect

The Sr. Integration Engineer is a highly hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions.ย This role focuses on engineering high-quality integrations primarily using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and TIBCO, while contributing to the modernization of legacy integrations and adoption of API-led and microservices-based integration patterns. This role collaborates closely with integration architects and application teams to implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable integrations while also serving as a resource responsible for code quality, integration standards adherence, and troubleshooting complex integration issues. In addition, this role contributes to refactoring legacy integration services and decomposing tightly coupled integrations into reusable APIs and microservices where appropriate.

What You Will Do

1.ย ย ย ย  Integration Development & Engineering Delivery

ย ย ย ย  ย ย Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including DataWeave transformations, reusable connectors, ย and API-led connectivity patterns.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Lead end to end projects, integrating and working with offshore resources to drive integration projects.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coach and mentor offshore developers on best practice implementations.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Implement enterprise integrations using REST APIs, event-driven messaging, and service-based integration approaches.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop and maintain reusable integration assets and services to promote API reuse and reduce duplication across integration solutions.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Build resilient integrations with appropriate error handling, logging, retry strategies, and performance optimization.

2.ย ย ย ย  TIBCO Integration Development & Legacy Support

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop and support integrations using TIBCO BusinessWorks and EMS including messaging, pub/sub, and event-driven integration patterns.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain and enhance existing legacy integration services while identifying opportunities to modernize them using MuleSoft and API-driven patterns.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration performance, messaging reliability, and service orchestration

3.ย ย ย ย  Integration Design Collaboration & Code Quality

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collaborate with integration architects and application teams to translate architecture designs into working integration implementations.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Review technical specifications and provide engineering feedback to improve integration design feasibility and implementation quality.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to enterprise integration standards and best practices.

4.ย ย ย ย  Legacy Modernization & Microservices Enablement

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Analyze existing integration services and identify opportunities to refactor legacy implementations into reusable APIs or microservices.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support efforts to migrate selected integration services from TIBCO to MuleSoft where appropriate.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist in reducing tightly coupled integrations and promoting API-led connectivity.

5.ย ย ย ย  Integration Support

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Design and support Informatica ETL pipelines used for batch processing and enterprise data integration needs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collaborate with data engineering teams to support batch data movement and transformation requirements.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist in diagnosing production issues and implementing corrective solutions to ensure integration reliability.

What You Will Bring

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum 8 years' progressive experience in enterprise integration, middleware development, or API engineering with hands-on development experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including:
