We are seeking a skilled User Interface Development Manager to lead the design, development, and validation of user interface software for industrial automation products. This role is ideal for a strong technical leader who works well in cross-functional environments and is passionate about creating reliable, user-friendly interfaces for critical automation systems. The focus of this position includes embedded web server and UIP development, along with FieldComm Group technologies such as FDI and EDDL, to deliver seamless and consistent user experiences across devices and host platforms.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Manage and support a team of UI and embedded software engineers. Encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.

Technical Leadership Oversee the design and development of embedded UI software, including embedded web servers, UIP frameworks, FDI packages, and EDDL device descriptions. Ensure software meets usability, performance, reliability, and cybersecurity requirements. Support integration between UI applications, embedded firmware, and host systems.

Project & Process Management Lead the UI software development process from planning through testing and release. Partner with hardware, firmware, systems, and product teams to align on project goals and timelines. Drive Agile practices and maintain strong standards for code quality, documentation, and process consistency.

Compliance & Quality Ensure software and device integrations meet industry and FieldComm standards. Promote automated testing, CI/CD processes, and strong version control practices. Support interoperability testing and validation with external host systems.
