Through an ecosystem of top Insurtech partners, we’re expanding the ALIP platform’s capabilities to provide even greater opportunities for our clients to differentiate and scale business growth.You Are:The Integration Lead Architect playing a pivotal role in ensuring that diverse software applications within an organization work seamlessly together.This position requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic planning, and effective communication to align integration efforts with business objectives.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design end-to-end integration architectures, including APIs, middleware, data flows, and service orchestration.

  • Develop the integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and technology initiatives.

  • Lead and mentor integration teams, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and frameworks

  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, development teams, and external partners.

  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with product capabilities.

  • Engage with potential clients, understand their integration needs, and propose tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with architects to ensure the integration architecture meets scalability and performance standards.

  • Provide development oversight to teams and ensure integration solutions meet client needs and the requirements.

  • Proactively identify risks related to integration dependencies and data flow.

  • Assist in deployment activities, monitor integration performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in integration technologies and propose enhancements to existing solutions

  • Provide status reports to stakeholders and leadership on integration initiatives.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise integration architecture, software engineering, and large-scale system integration, with significant experience leading architecture and engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs, asynchronous/event-based integrations, ETL/data transformation pipelines, and enterprise integration solutions across cloud and on-premise ecosystems.

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise integration technologies and platforms such as MuleSoft, Spring Integration, Kafka, API Gateway, messaging platforms, ESB technologies, and cloud-native integration services.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud architecture and integration patterns across AWS or Azure, including containerized and Kubernetes-based deployment models.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience defining API standards, integration governance, security architecture, authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), and scalable integration best practices.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with observability, resiliency, scalability, performance optimization, and operational support considerations for enterprise-grade distributed systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years of strong Life Insurance and Annuities domain experience, including New Business & Underwriting, Policy Administration, Servicing, Billing & Payments, Claims, Illustrations & Quotes, Advisor/Distributor workflows, and Digital Customer Experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering technology solutions within Life Insurance and Annuities carrier environments or insurance SaaS platforms

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

  • Strong ability to analyze complex systems, identify integration scenarios and devise solutions.

  • Ability to lead technical teams, guide cross functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Life and Annuity Insurance Industry Products specific exposure to Annuity and or Life products a plus

  • Key Insurance functional areas conceptual understanding of New Business, Administration, Customer Service, Claims, etc .

  • Proficiency in designing scalable and efficient integration architectures, employing various integration methods, patterns, and technologies. This includes understanding different types of integration, such as application, data, business process, and enterprise integration.

  • Experience with architectural abstractions, design patterns, and object oriented modeling principles is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is highly valued.

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure that all systems work efficiently and effectively
