GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for insurance service and account management for both personal and commercial clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Help with servicing customer accounts including phone calls and walk in customers.
  2. Completes insurance proposals and quotes for agents and producers.
  3. Issues binders, endorsements, cancellations/reinstatement notices, etc.
  4. ย Prepares and distributes certificates of insurance.
  5. Maintain accounts on agency management system.
  6. Processes insurance claims and loss notices.
  7. Assistant Senior Customer Service Representative with renewals.
  8. Regular and reliable attendance.
  9. Assists with other job-related duties as assigned by manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Agency Software.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, and function as a team player.
  • Ability to work with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate various office machines including switchboard, adding machine, copy machine, etc.
  • Ability to cross-sell insurance products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proper insurance licenses.
