ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring efforts across the organization. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates while partnering closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and deliver top talent. The ideal candidate stays current on recruiting trends and best practices, brings strong communication skills, and leverages technology and data to drive an efficient and positive hiring experience. The role requires in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday at our Indianapolis location, with a Friday work-from-home option. Occasional travel may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Industry Knowledge & Continuous Learning
    • Stay informed on current recruiting trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.
    • Apply market insights to improve hiring strategies and candidate experience.
  • Interviewing
    • Conduct structured, in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
    • Utilize behavioral and situational interviewing techniques to assess competencies and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relationship Building & Communication
    • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
    • Provide consultative guidance and regular updates on pipeline progress and market insights.
    • Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
    • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through the offer stage.
  • Screening
    • Review resumes to identify qualified candidates based on skills, experience, and role alignment.
    • Conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and interest in the role.
  • Sourcing
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build strong pipelines of qualified candidates.
    • Leverage multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals, to attract talent.
    • Proactively engage passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Technology & Tools
    • Utilize the applicant tracking system (Teamtailor ATS) to manage candidates and track recruitment activity.
    • Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms effectively.
    • Maintain accurate candidate data and generate reports to support hiring decisions.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding, and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience.
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
  • Must have experience in mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources and locations.
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack. Prior experience in a Salesforce Consulting environment is a plus.
