Insurance Office Assistant

Weaver Group Insurance Agency – Bay City, MI


Weaver Group Insurance Agency is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Insurance Office Assistant to join our Bay City office.


This is a customer-facing support position that is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, staying organized, and helping a team keep things moving. Previous insurance experience is not required. We are looking for the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate team member


  • Make outbound calls to customers and prospects gather information for agents


  • Schedule appointments for licensed insurance agents


  • Take and process customer payments


  • Send insurance documents and other requested information


  • Assist customers with routine administrative requests


  • Follow up with customers for documents, forms, and other needed information


  • Scan, upload, and organize documents


  • Greet and assist customers who visit the office


  • Provide administrative support to licensed insurance agents


  • Help keep customer information and office tasks organized and up to date


  • Assist with other office and customer-service duties as needed
