Waconia 1 Collision & Auto, our family-owned and operated collision repair facility, is seeking an experienced Auto Body Estimator in the Waconia, MN area.
This position offers competitive pay for the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering 5-Star guest experiences, ensuring safe, high-quality vehicle repairs, and guiding customers confidently through the claims and repair process. The ideal candidate will have experience handling Progressive Insurance claims.

Position Responsibilities
โ€ข Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
โ€ข Manage insurance claims, including documentation, photo estimating, supplements, and communications
โ€ข Perform complete repair planning and blueprinting to ensure accurate, efficient repairs
โ€ข Collect, verify, and update all customer and vehicle information
โ€ข Write accurate estimates using CCC One in compliance with insurance guidelines
โ€ข Utilize the ROME management system (training provided if needed)
โ€ข Work closely with technicians, parts vendors, and insurance adjusters to ensure timely approvals
โ€ข Submit and negotiate supplements effectively and promptly
โ€ข Monitor repair progress to ensure cycle-time and quality standards are met
โ€ข Clearly document the repair process using computerized notes
โ€ข Communicate proactively with customers throughout the entire repair process
โ€ข Educate customers on repairs and sell value-added services when appropriate
Requirements
โ€ข Experience working insurance claims; Progressive Insurance claims experience strongly preferred
โ€ข Strong understanding of DRP procedures and insurance estimating standards
โ€ข Experience with the full repair planning / blueprinting process
โ€ข Minimum 3 years of collision repair estimating or industry-related customer service experience
โ€ข Proficiency with CCC One estimating software
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple repairs in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
โ€ข Valid driver's license with clean driving record
โ€ข I-CAR certifications are a plus
