Job description

Full service established Construction Company specializing in insurance restoration is in search of a Senior Construction Estimator.

Job Duties: Write scopes and estimate repairs for large insurance losses. Includes fire, smoke, water and storm damage claims Pay range commiserate with experience, and industry/revenue stream. Industry experience is mandatory.

Requirements: Candidates without extensive Large Loss Claim experience will not be considered. This position is for a Senior Insurance Construction Estimator

  • Insurance Restoration Estimator with extensive Xactimate experience is a must. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with Large loss claims.
  • Management experience
  • Existing sub contractor base is a plus
  • Must have construction knowledge
  • Must have knowledge with Fire, Water and storm damage claims on a large scale.
  • Must possess time management skills
  • Must be able to write and comprehend budgets
  • Must be able to understand and establish job costing, and obtain prices
  • Proficient in insurance guidelines and qualifications
  • Possess strong computer skills
  • Must be able to handle a fair volume of work in a timely manner
  • Flexible schedule nights and weekend may be required Due to a rotation with emergency on-call.
