Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to hire an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and has a strong background in supporting attorneys handling insurance defense matters.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing case files, preparing legal documents, and coordinating with clients, experts, and court personnel. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with case management from initial intake through trial and settlement
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain case files, medical records, and deposition summaries
  • Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, experts, and court personnel
  • Manage deadlines, court calendars, and electronic filings in state and federal courts
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
  • Support attorneys with billing, time entry, and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal in insurance defense litigation
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients and handling confidential information
Benefits:
Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
