Position Summary: The Account Executive serves as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating insurance solutions. This role includes developing marketing strategies, preparing applications, and managing renewals, often acting as the lead consultant for client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business
- Prepare applications, specifications, and submission materials for carriers
- Negotiate coverage terms, conditions, limits, and pricing with insurance carriers and wholesalers
- Collaborate with claims teams to support client claim matters
- Maintain accurate client records including exposures, endorsements, and policy details
- Manage renewal timelines and ensure timely receipt of policies and endorsements
- Oversee or direct work of Account Managers and Coordinators as needed
- Conduct client meetings and regular service reviews
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory issues, and market conditions
Client & Business Management:
- Manage a book of business with a focus on client retention and growth
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding
- Deliver consultative advice on risk management and coverage structures
- Maintain strong carrier relationships to support placement strategies
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial and underwriting information
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team coordination capabilities

Typical Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license

- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities simultaneously
