  • Document all activity accurately in our agency management system

  • Coordinate with internal support teams and carriers to deliver quotes efficiently

  • Hit activity and sales goals with urgency, professionalism, and consistency

How We Work

  • All team members are expected to be coachable and open to feedback, regardless of experience level
  • We operate as a team, meaning coordination with support staff and adherence to systems is required
  • Success in this role comes from consistency and execution, not reinventing the process

  • Strong phone and communication skills

  • Demonstrated coachability and willingness to take direction from leadership

  • Ability to follow a structured, step-by-step sales process consistently

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality for an in-office role

Preferred Experience

  • Personal lines sales experience (home/auto) in an independent agency or captive agency

  • Inside sales, consultative selling, account management, or call center experience

  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with daily follow-up expectations

Compensation

  • $55,000 base salary

  • 25% of all first-term commissions paid to the agency

  • Training, scripts, and proven internal processes to help you succeed

  • Growth opportunity in a stable, locally owned agency serving Ankeny for the past 32 years
