Job description

This position is responsible for assisting Account Manager(s) and/or producers in the servicing and processing of new and renewal business and other tasks assigned in a timely, accurate and positive manner.

Responsibilities

New, Renewal, Endorsement, and Audit


  1. Process policies, endorsement/changes or other tasks assigned per the instructions given to the processor and may perform on-line rating functions and quoting upon licensure.
  2. In processing the new and renewal business or endorsements/changes the processor must verify the coverages on the apps in EPIC actually reflect what is on the policy.
  3. If there are any discrepancies between the actual policy and EPIC this will need to be discussed with their appropriate supervisor as to what action needs to be taken.
  4. Assist the Account Manager on special projects/mail outs/submissions as needed or requested


Requirements
  1. Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadline
  2. High School Education mandatory with college degree preferred
  3. Ability to learn Property and Casualty Insurance in a fast paced environment
  4. Requirement of obtaining insurance license within 6 months to 1 year.
  5. Ability to operate computers and general office equipment
  6. Excellent customer services skills and work ethic required
  7. Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
  8. Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
  9. Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  10. Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
  11. Attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Constant use of computer screens
  2. Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
  3. Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
  4. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday
  5. Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
  6. Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds
