The Farmers Insurance Protégé Program is a paid training program that provides hands‑on experience, mentorship, and a structured path to becoming a full‑time Agency Owner.

You’ll work directly with a successful agency while learning the ins and outs of running your own business....without starting from scratch.

This role is designed for someone who wants to learn the business from the inside, produce at a high level, and ultimately step into agency ownership - with the new agent capital requirement waived upon successful graduation.

  • Capital Requirement Waived upon graduation into agency ownership.
  • Award-winning University of Farmers® training and one‑on‑one mentorship from an experienced agent.
  • Skill development in sales, marketing, operations, leadership, and business planning.
  • Clear "up to" 12‑month path to becoming an Agency Owner (eligibility requirements must be met).

Working arrangements (compensation, duties, schedule) are set directly between the Protégé and the hiring Farmers Agency Owner.
